You don’t have to hold this alone.

What you may be carrying

A place to put down has felt heavy

Feeling Overwhelmed

Cycles of conflict, distance, misunderstanding, or fear of vulnerability. Longing for more emotional safety and closeness.

Anxiety that doesn’t stop

A mind that doesn’t rest. Tension in the body. Worry that loops. Feeling “on edge” even when nothing is wrong.

Trauma stored in the body

Old experiences still living in present sensations. Tightness, shutdown, numbness, hypervigilance, or emotional overload.

Self doubt & People pleasing

Always being “the strong one,” the helpful one, the one who holds everything together, even when you’re tired.

Disconnection from Self

Feeling unsure of who you are, what you need, or how to voice it. Wanting to reconnect with your inner world gently.

Challenges in Relationship

Cycles of conflict, distance, misunderstanding, or fear of vulnerability. Longing for more emotional safety and closeness.

Approach

Healing doesn’t have to be fast to be meaningful.
We move gently, at the rhythm your body and nervous system can hold. There is no pressure here no expectation to “get to the point” or perform your pain.
Our work together is attuned, relational, and grounded. We slow down, listen inward, and notice what feels heavy, tender, or unspoken, meeting those parts with warmth and respect.
My approach integrates somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, attachment and relational depth work, and practices that support emotional nervous system regulation.
This is a space where you don’t have to hold everything alone.

About Me

Hi, I’m Zahra.

I offer a warm and grounding space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to express what they’re carrying. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come here — we will explore it gently, together.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and culturally sensitive. I draw from modalities such as DBT, CBT, Schema Therapy, and somatic awareness, but the heart of my work is attunement. We move at your pace. We follow what your nervous system can hold with care, curiosity, and respect.

I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, identity development, emotional overwhelm, and the ongoing work of self-worth. As a person of colour and an immigrant myself, I understand the impact of culture, family systems, and lived experience on how we learn to cope, relate, and protect ourselves.

You don’t need to be “strong” here.
You can soften.
You can exhale.
We’ll find your way forward together.

Do I need to know what to say before coming to therapy?

No. You can come exactly as you are. You don’t need the right words. We’ll find them slowly, together.

What happens in a session?

We’ll explore what feels present for you, gently, with room to pause, feel, notice the body, and move at a pace that feels safe and grounded.

How often do we meet?

Most people find weekly or bi-weekly sessions supportive, but we’ll choose a rhythm that fits your capacity and needs.

Can I reschedule a session?

Yes! life happens. I just ask for 24 hours notice so the time can be offered to someone else.

Do you offer sliding scale pricing?

Yes. I offer a limited number of reduced-rate spots to support accessibility. Feel free to ask.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person?

Yes. Many people find virtual sessions feel more comfortable and easeful, especially when held in your familiar environment.

If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s okay.
